
Pirates Open BIG EAST Play Hosting Providence

South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall men's soccer (2-1-3) will open BIG EAST play on Friday when the Providence Friars (2-4-0) travel to Owen T. Carroll Field. Match time is scheduled for 6:56 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

- After a quite scoreless first half, the Pirates got on the board first off the back of a Joseph Min goal off the foot of a Sam Bjork cross into the box. Sophomore midfielder Til Kauschke would add two more goals to The Hall's tally, eventually securing a 3-0 Seton Hall win at the end of 90 minutes.

SCOUTING PROVIDENCE
- Providence is 2-4-0 on the season after falling to No. 17 Bryant 2-1 last time out.
- The Friars entered the season picked to finish second in the BIG EAST East Division, receiving two first-place votes. Seniors forwards Bruno Rosa and midfielder Diego Batista were selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
