Pirates Hit The Road For Clash Against Marquette

South Orange, N.J. - Seton Hall men's soccer (3-2-3) will continue BIG EAST play on Saturday when the Pirates travel to Milwaukee, Wis. to take on the Marquette Golden Eagles (4-1-2, 0-1-0 BIG EAST) at Valley Fields.

Match time is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST and will be broadcast live on the Marquette Golden Eagles YouTube channel.

LAST TIME OUT

The Pirates hosted the Princeton Tigers in a return to non-conference play at Owen T. Carroll Field.
After entering the halftime break down 1-0, the Pirates found themselves searching for answers. While a red card did not help their cause, a goal by Aidan Tisony tied the game up at 1-1. Princeton quickly responded with two goals; however, it handed Seton Hall a 3-1 loss.

SCOUTING MARQUETTE

Marquette is 4-1-2 on the season after defeating Milwaukee 3-1 in the 51st Milwaukee Cup.
The Golden Eagles entered the season picked to finish fourth in the BIG EAST Midwest Division with 34 points.
After scoring three goals last season, senior forward Mitchell Dryden has already matched his goal tally from last season to lead the team in goals. Overall, nine different players have scored at least one goal. Similarly, five Golden Eagles have logged at least two assists.
In his second season between the posts for Marquette, sophomore Marten Brink is looking to build upon a freshman campaign in which he posted a 1.35 GAA and 54 total saves. So far, Brink has started five games, recording a 3-0-2 record with a 1.20 GAA and 12 saves.

This will be the 19th all-time matchup against Marquette, with the first meeting dating back to 2005.
The Pirates hold an 8-7-3 record against the Golden Eagles.
Last season, the Pirates won 1-0 over Marquette in South Orange.
