Schaffer enters her fourth season as Seton Hall's hitting/outfield coach in 2026.
In 2025, Schaffer helped guide the Pirates' hitters into the record books. As a unit, the team recorded a single-season record for the most walks drawn in program history (229) in a dominant showing of plate discipline. The team also set new single-game record for runs (23), walks (14) and margin of victory (23) in a 23-0 run-rule win over Wagner. On the individual side, a four players recorded record-breaking campaigns. With a 56-walk season, Kelsey Carr set new single-season and career (134) marks for walks drawn. Sophomore phenom Katey Brennan followed up her BIG EAST Freshman of the Year campaign by breaking the single-season runs scored record (49) held by Taylor Hill. Olivia Gilbert, meanwhile, powered her way to a team-leading tally of 57 RBI, setting a new single season team record. The final member of the record-breaking quartet was Taylor Hill. In her final season, Hill set new program records for career doubles (63) and runs scored (161).
In her second season, Schaffer helped the Pirates achieve one of their greatest offensive seasons in team history. The Pirates posted new single-season records in runs scored (332), base hits (498), RBI (307), doubles (91) and walks drawn (195). Schaffer also assisted in BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year and All-BIG EAST First Team honoree Abby Wingo posting one of the best single seasons in program history on both sides of the diamond. Wingo set single-season individual records in hits (71) and posted the longest hitting streak in team history (19 games), all while posting a 1.000 fielding percentage in center field during league games. Under Schaffer, the Pirates posted a .306 team batting average, which led the BIG EAST and was the second-highest in team history. Seton Hall also paced the conference in slugging percentage, runs scored, hits, RBI, home runs and total bases.
Schaffer arrived at Seton Hall in August 2021 after three years as an assistant coach at Post University. During her time on the staff at Post, Schaffer helped lead the Eagles to a 49-34 record including a CACC Semifinal appearance in 2021.

Prior to her coaching career, Schaffer was one of the top hitters in Post University history. Upon her graduation, Schaffer finished her four-year career ranked third all-time in career hits, fourth in doubles and fifth in both home runs and RBIs. A two-time All-CACC team member, including a first team appearance her senior season, Schaffer was also named a Division II CCA Second Team All-East Region honoree in 2018.

Schaffer earned her MBA in Management and Operations from Post University in 2019 after earning a BA in Psychology from Post in 2018.
