2021: Played in 28 games starting 26 of them... Hit .288 with four doubles, a home run and 14 runs driven in... Drove in three runs in the win over Butler (3/14) including a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning... Picked up a pair of doubles and a pair of RBIs against St. John's (3/21)... Had a four-hit day at the plate with an RBI double and two runs scored in the 10-inning victory over Villanova (5/2) on senior day... Had five, multi-hit efforts on the season... On the Seton Hall softball career leaderboard, wrapped up her career top-five in doubles (4th, 42), RBIs (4th, 123), at-bats (4th, 611), hits (5th, 186), and games started (t5th, 196)... Was top-10 in games played (8th, 199), runs (9th, 96) and home runs (t10th, 20)... Was top-15 in batting average (t13th, .304) and walks (15th, 56).
2020: Started and played in all 24 games ... Scored 11 runs and drove in six during the shortened season ... Drew 12 walks on seven strikeouts ... Went 2-for-5, scored two runs and had an RBI single against Elon on Feb. 8 ... Crossed the plate twice against Rhode Island on Feb. 9 ... Went 2-for-3 with an RBI single against Rutgers on March 10.
2019: First Team All-BIG EAST...Second Team NFCA All-Region...became the second Pirate to ever hit over .400 in a season...made 47 starts in left field, batting .408 with a .448 OBP and a .651 slugging percentage...totaled six home runs, 17 doubles and a triple...knocked in 38 RBIs and scored 30 runs...totaled 62 hits...top-five in a single-season at SHU in average, doubles and total hits...had 22 multi-hit efforts and hit safely in 37 of 47 outings.
2018: Started all 54 games in left field…hit .269 with seven home runs and team-highs of nine doubles and 34 RBIs…scored 20 runs and stole four bases.
2017: Played in 46 games, making 45 starts as a rookie for Seton Hall…Had a batting average of .275 with 25 runs scored and 31 driven in…Hit first career home run and went 2-for-2 with four RBI in 18-8 victory against Bucknell (2/18)…Went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored in 10-1 victory against Coppin State (2/25)…Went 3-for-4 with five RBI and a home run in setback against East Carolina (3/5)…Went 2-for-2 with a RBI and scored twice in 10-2 victory against Georgetown(4/8)…Went 2-for-4 with two RBI in setback at Providence (4/22).
Before SHU: Played four years of varsity softball at the Webb Schools in Claremont, CA where she was a three-year captain…Named to California High School All-state First team first team in 2016, first team All-league in 2013 and 2014…All-league player of the year in 2015 and 2016…All California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section First team in 2014, 2015, and 2016…Max Preps Team MVP 2013-2016…Career batting average of .681…Daughter of Rebeca Cook and Micheal Arteaga…Has two younger siblings Bianca and Brandon…Plans on majoring in business...Born Sept. 17, 1997.
