2023: Named to All-BIG EAST First Team and NFCA All-Region Third Team… Named BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player after going 8-for-13 with two home runs, three doubles and 11 RBI at the plate to go along with a 3-0 record in 15.1 innings pitched… Ranked third on the team with a .340 batting average on the season… Hit eight home runs and drove in 38 runs… Compiled a 2.87 ERA and 142 strikeouts in 30 pitching appearances and 19 starts… Her 16 pitching wins were most by a Pirate in a season since 2005… Named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week twice (3/6, 4/24) and Player of the Week once (3/27)… Pitched seven shutout innings and struck out a career-high 12 batters against North Dakota (3/3)… Followed that up with another 10 strikeouts the following day in a win over Texas Tech (3/4)… Collected three base hits and drove in two runs in the win over Creighton (3/25)… Launched a three-run home run as part of a run-rule win over Monmouth (3/28)… Did not allow a run and struck out 10 batters, including the 300^th of her career, in the victory over St. John’s (4/1)… Tossed the 21^st no-hitter in Seton Hall history in a win over Providence while also hitting a home run and driving in three runs in the game (4/22)… Drove in seven runs, laced a pair of doubles and hit the game-winning three-run home run while pitching all nine innings in the BIG EAST Tournament Quarterfinal win over Villanova (5/11)… Launched a third-inning grand slam as part of the Pirates’ semifinal win over top-seeded UConn (5/12).

2022: Named to All-BIG EAST Second Team… Led the BIG EAST in innings pitched during the regular season (163.2) and had nearly 30 more innings pitched than any other BIG EAST pitcher during league games (109.0)… Pitched 30 games and started 24 of them, compiling 19 complete games and 134 strikeouts… Owned the second-highest batting average on the team among qualified hitters (.311) along with a team-best seven home runs… Hit two home runs and drove in six runs in the win over Saint Joseph’s (2/20)… Did it all in the BIG EAST opener against Providence, going 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI at the plate, while hurling a complete game shutout and scattering three hits in the circle (3/10)… Named BIG EAST Player of the Week after hitting two home runs and earning a win and a save in the circle in a weekend series victory over Creighton (3/21)… Pitched all 13 innings of a narrow home defeat to DePaul, striking out 11 in the process (4/8)… Dominated in the circle against Villanova, allowing just four hits in the complete game shutout (4/29).

2021: Played in 27 games both as a pitcher and hitter... Made 21 appearances in the circle, tossing 79 innings with a team-leading 75 punchouts, good enough for eigth-best in the conference... Hit .270 with six doubles and eight runs batted in... Against Butler (3/13), threw a complete game while striking out nine batters before picking up the win for The Hall against the Bulldogs on Sunday (3/14) by tossing five scoreless innings of relief to go along with four punchouts... In the same series, in six at-bats over the weekend, Smith hit .500 with two doubles and three runs batted in on her way to being named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (3/15)... Threw a complete game in the win over Hofstra (3/31) surrendering only one run with six strikeouts while also going 2-for-3 at the player with a pair of doubles and a run driven in.

2020: Played in 11 games with two starts ... 10 of those appearances and one start came in the circle ... Went 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA ... Tallied six strikeouts and didn't allow a run in 4.1 innings to earn the win at Elon on Feb. 8 ... Struck out four and allowed no runs in three innings to earn the win against Iona on Feb. 23.

Before SHU: Played seven years for Lutheran South Academy in Houston, Texas... Named First Team All-State her final two years after earning Second Team honors the previous two years... Was a TAPPS Division II State Champion in 2019 and earned All-Tournament Team honors... Compiled a 35-5 record over her final two seasons at Lutheran South to go along with 438 strikeouts... Picked up over 100 hits and drove in over 80 runs while amassing 18 home runs in four seasons... Daughter of Shana and James Smith... Born April 19, 2001... Plans to major in Business.
