Sean Corcoan was named assistant coach of the Seton Hall men's and women's swimming & diving programs prior to the 2017-18 season. Corcoran joins The Hall after serving as an assistant at Drexel in 2016.

A Newtown, Pa. native, Corcoran was previously the head coach at Tri-Hampton YMCA for two years. He coordinated training and supervision of more than 100 athletes and developed training regimens both in and out of the pool. Under his direction swimmers set 60 short course and 65 long course records.

From 2012-16, Corcoran was the men's varsity assistant coach at Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, Pa. During his time with the Falcons, approximately 40 swimmers qualified for the PIAA-AAA District 1 Championships and 15 reached the State Championship Meet.

Corcoran was a student-athlete at Widener University from 2008-12, and was a two-time breaststroke medalist at the MAC Championships.
