Navarrete Named Big East Co-Player Of The Week

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ (April 3, 2000) -- Senior third baseman Ray Navarrete (Colts Neck, NJ) of the Seton Hall baseball team was named BIG EAST Co-Player of the Week, it was announced April 3.
Navarrete went 12-for-20 with three doubles, a triple, a home run, eight RBI and eight runs scored to lead the Pirates to a 5-0 week. In a three game sweep of Georgetown, he pounded out six hits and scored four runs.
Navarrete has two home runs and 25 RBI in 25 games this season. He leads Seton Hall with nine doubles and a .459 batting average.
