
Golf Ties for Second at Big 5 Classic

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Seton Hall golf team tied for second place at the Big 5 Classic. The Pirates shot a 307 on Sunday and finished four shots behind Cornell. Junior John Zur (Glenview, Ill.) finished third after shooting a +6 (77) in the final round.
Senior Kyle Morris (Powell, Ohio) shot a +5 (76) to wrap up the tournament and tied for 13th place. Sophomore Ryan Castanet (McDonald, Pa.) fired a +4 (75) to finish tied for 22nd. Sophomore David Sampson (Warren, R.I.) and freshman Colin Van Es (Granger, Ind.) tied for 38th. Sampson shot a +11 (82), while Van ES scored a +8 (79).
Seton Hall will wrap up its fall season at the BIG EAST/MAC Challenge on Oct. 27-28 at Orlando, Fla.
