SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - West Virginia grabbed a, 4-0, lead in the first four innings and Seton Hall was unable to recover as they lost to the Mountaineers, 5-2, Saturday afternoon at Owen T. Carroll Field. The loss, coupled with their win last night, sets up a rubber-game Sunday afternoon.
After taking an early, 1-0, lead in the top of the first inning, West Virginia's (12-11, 1-1) Grant Buckner added two more runs with a two-run home run over the left field fence, for his second of the season. Jedd Gyorko hit an RBI double in the top of the fourth inning, before the Pirates (9-10, 1-1) came back to cut the lead in half.
Trailing, 4-0, in the bottom of the fourth inning, Ryan Sullivan (Stony Point, N.Y.) hit an RBI single and came around to score on a ground out fielder's choice off the bat of Chris Spagnuolo (Tabernacle, N.J.).
The score remained, 4-2, in the bottom of the fifth inning when the Pirates looked to complete the comeback. With two-outs and the bases loaded, the Mountaineers summoned Chris Enourato from the bullpen who struck out Sullivan to end the threat. West Virginia followed in the top of the sixth with an RBI single by pinch-hitter Kevin Griffin for the, 5-2, advantage.

(2-1) suffered the loss after allowing three runs in three innings of work. Despite leaving the game with the lead, Mountaineers starter Andy Berry received the no decision lasting 4.2 innings
