
Men's Golf Named GCAA All-Academic Team

NORMAN, OKLA. - The Seton Hall men's golf team was named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-America Team for having a collective grade point average of above 3.0 during the 2010-11 academic year. The announcement was made Wednesday.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college of university must submit the grade points earned and hours attempted for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
The Pirates were one of 59 Division I programs to be recognized as an All-Academic Team. DePaul and Notre Dame are the only other BIG EAST programs among the prestigious group. The Blue Demons were named Academic National Champions for having the highest team GPA in Division I.
