
Ryan Harvey Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Seton Hall junior Ryan Harvey (Manalapan, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday for the third straight week.
Harvey scattered seven hits and gave up just one earned run before leaving in the eighth inning against Pittsburgh in the first game of a double-header on Saturday. Harvey went 7.2 innings and matched his season-high of nine strikeouts against just two walks. The right-hander has now won his last three starts and has given up just two earned runs in his last 34.2 innings pitched.
Other weekly honors include: Georgetown's Rand Ravnaas named BIG EAST Player of the Week and Louisville's Justin Amlung earning BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week recognition. Joining Harvey on the Honor Roll are Notre Dame's Will Hudgins, Rutgers' Patrick Kivlehan, St. John's Sean Hagan and USF's Derrick Stultz.
The Pirates will return to the diamond on Thursday, May 17, when they make the short trip to Queens, N.Y. to begin the final three-game series of the 2012 regular season at St. John's. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
