SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - By virtue of their win over St. John's on Saturday and Pittsburgh's loss at Louisville, the Seton Hall baseball team has earned the #2 seed in the upcoming 2013 BIG EAST Baseball Championship in Clearwater, Fla. The Pirates (18-6) will face #7 Notre Dame (10-14) in the first round on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Should Seton Hall win, it will face the winner of the game between #3 Pittsburgh and #6 St. John's in the event's second round on Thursday. Notre Dame was the Pirates' only BIG EAST opponent to defeat them in a series. It was the first BIG EAST weekend of the year and the Fighting Irish won two of three games in Indiana.
