SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall baseball team has moved up five spots to #19 in Monday’s Collegiate Baseball Top-30 national poll.  The Pirates also made their debut in Baseball America’s poll as the #22 ranked team. After receiving votes for several weeks, Seton Hall (36-17) finally broke into the national consciousness last week when Collegiate Baseball ranked it #24.  Since, the Pirates have gone 3-1, with a victory over Michigan on a neutral field and two wins last weekend vs. St. John’s.  Seton Hall is also receiving votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers’ Association (NCBWA) poll and the USA Today Coaches’ poll. The Pirates will return to action on Wednesday, May 22 when they begin play at the 2013 BIG EAST Championship in Clearwater, Fla.  Seton Hall, the second seed, will face #7 Notre Dame at 1:00 p.m.
