
Go, MGolf Tied for Ninth at Princeton Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. - Freshman Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) is even-par following two rounds of the Princeton Invitational and has led the Seton Hall men's golf team to a ninth place tie with 18 holes remaining.
Collectively, the Pirates are 15-over-par with a 288-295-583 after two rounds. Seton Hall trails the team leader, Harvard, by 35 strokes entering Sunday's final round. The Pirates' lone BIG EAST competition in the field, Georgetown, is just two strokes ahead of them in eighth place.
Go is currently tied for 12th place among 78 individual golfers. He is currently even-par following a a 72-70-142. Go trails the individual leader, Akash Mirchandani of Harvard, by nine strokes.
JT Harper (Pebble Beach, Calif.) is currently tied for 31st place at 4-over-par following a 73-73-146.
Sophomore Cory Wilson (Newton, N.J.) shot an even-par, 71, in round one, but gained five strokes in the second round. He's currently tied for 33rd place with a 5-over-par, 71-76-147.
Sophomore David Cha (Carrollton, Texas), making his spring debut, is currently tied for 45th place with a 7-over-par, 72-77-149. Freshman Kevin O'Brien (Wexford, Pa.) is just two strokes behind Cha with a 9-over-par, 75-76-151.
The tournament, hosted by Princeton University, features 15 teams including: Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Harvard, Navy, Penn, Princeton, Rider, Rutgers, Saint Joseph's, Seton Hall, Temple and Yale.
The par-71 course at Springdale Country Club measures 6,390 yards and teams will play two rounds Saturday with tee times beginning at 7:45 a.m. and one round Sunday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. Yale is the four-time defending champion, winning by two shots over Temple last year. The field is the same as last year except for Rutgers, which is added. Temple's Brandon Matthews and Matt Teesdale return this year as co-defending champions.
