Loyola History
Last spring, Seton Hall finished seventh among a field of 17 teams at this event, then named the Neville Kovacs Group Intercollegiate. The Hall fired a 22-over-par, 302-289-295-886, and finished 18 strokes behind Utah Valley for the team title. Last Tournament:
Seton Hall is coming off a team victory at the spring opening Carlton Oaks WIU Invitational, Feb. 15-16. The Pirates dominated the small field, winning the event by 22 strokes over second place CSU-San Marcos.
Seton Hall was paced by the standout play of Lloyd Jefferson Go, who placed second among all individual golfers, and freshman Gen Nagai, who tied for third.
Go shot an even-par, 72-70-74-216, the fourth time in five tournaments this year that he's finished at par or better for an event. Nagai led the individual field after two rounds at 4-under-par, but shot a 6-over-par, 78, in round three to settle for 2-over-par with a 69-71-78-218 for the tournament. Nagai's first two rounds represent the two lowest for his young career.
