Lloyd Jefferson Go Named to All-BIG EAST First Team

CALLAWASSIE ISLAND, S.C. – Junior Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team as announced by the conference on Friday.
Go becomes the first three-time All-BIG EAST performer in Seton Hall history and he's currently in the midst of his most-impressive year. The junior shaved more than two full strokes off his scoring average from a year ago and currently leads the BIG EAST Conference with a 71.67 average. Go has tallied eight top-10 finishes in just 10 tournaments this year and has shot a team-best 10 sub-par rounds. He has recorded four top-5 finishes and had three sub-par tournaments.
Earlier this spring, Go set a new Seton Hall record-low score for a three-round, par-72 tournament with a 9-under-par, 66-69-72-207 at the Loyola Invitational. His 9-under is the second-most strokes under par in Pirate history. Last fall, he fired an impressive 6-under-par, 70-69-71-210, at the Hartford Hawks Invitational.
Go and the rest of the Pirates will take on the rest of the conference at the BIG EAST Championship this week in Callawassie Island, S.C.
