OMAHA, NEB. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (2-3-1) faces a major test as BIG EAST play opens on Saturday night, traveling to No. 14 Creighton (3-1-1) for an 8 p.m. (ET) first kick. The Pirates and Bluejays will reignite what has become one of the most prolific rivalries of the new-look BIG EAST, meeting for the fourth time in a series that has produced 16 goals over the first three matches. The contest will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network on the FOX Sports GO app, kicking off the BEDN's 2016 men's soccer slate.
The Pirates are coming off a 3-1 setback to Delaware on Wednesday night, while the Bluejays defeated UMKC by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday. The all-time series between the two squads currently sits at 2-1-0 in favor of the Bluejays after then-No. 1 Creighton took a 4-2 victory last season. The Pirates opened the series with a 3-2 victory in 2013, before the Bluejays secured a triumph by the same score in 2014.
Quick Kicks
Following Saturday's match, the Pirates have a week off before continuing a four-game road swing at St. John's on Sept. 24 in Queens.
