The Hall Visits St. John's For Saturday Showdown

QUEENS, N.Y. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (2-4-1, 0-1-0 BIG EAST) continues a four-game road swing on Saturday night when it visits St. John's (3-2-2, 0-0-1) for a BIG EAST tilt at Belson Stadium. Kick off between the local rivals is set for 7 p.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FOX Sports GO app with Ralph Bednarczyk and John Fanta on the call.
The Pirates and Red Storm will renew a rivalry that dates back to 1979 and has seen the two sides meet 37 times in respective program histories. The series has become a defensive slugfest in recent years, with three of the past four meetings involving one total goal or less.
The Hall opened BIG EAST play on Saturday, falling to No. 14 Creighton despite Andres Arcila (Cartagena, Colombia) scoring his team-high fifth goal of the year. Arcila's strike, a direct free kick from 30 yards out, was later named the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Goal of the Week. St. John's also opened conference action on Saturday, playing Marquette to a scoreless draw.
