Go Named BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Week

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall senior Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) was named BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
Go, the defending BIG EAST individual champion, helped lead the Pirates to a seventh place team finish at a highly competitive Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Course in Goodyear, Ariz.
Go fired a 5-under-par, 67, in Monday's final round. He ended his remarkable third round with six birdies, 11 pars and just one bogey to tie for the third-lowest par-72 single-round in Pirate history. Go finished second among 96 individual golfers with a record 11-under-par, 68-70-67-205. The 205 is the lowest three-round, par-72 score ever for a Seton Hall golfer. Furthermore, his 11-under-par, is the second-most strokes under par, for any par course, in Pirate history. Go finished behind only Eastern Michigan's Kyle Rodes, who won the individual title at 13-under-par.
The Pirates will return to the links early next week with three rounds of golf at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate, March 6-7.
