FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – Sophomore Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) is the individual leader and has guided the Seton Hall men's golf team to an eight-stroke team lead after two rounds at the 2017 Fort Lauder Dale Intercollegiate.

Nagai has been brilliant through two rounds, shooting a 3-under-par, 70-71-141, and currently leads the field of 84 individual golfers by three strokes with 18 holes remaining. He is three strokes ahead of a trio of golfers at even-par, which includes his teammate, Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines). Nagai is seeking his first tournament individual title.

Collectively, the Pirates have turned in two strong rounds and are 6-over-par with a 293-289-582 entering Tuesday's final round. They lead second place Richmond by eight strokes.

Go, tied for second place, is even-par with a 73-71-144. He is tied with Florida Gulf Coast's Casper Howells and Old Dominion's David Langley.Â

Alex Chalk (Castle Douglas, Scotland) is currently tied for 12th place following and is 4-over-par with a 75-73-148. The freshman is seeking his second career top-10.

Sophomore Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) is tied for 21st place with a 7-under-par, 75-76-151, while junior Linus Yip (Sydney, Australia) is only two shots behind Yeom with a 9-over-par, 79-74-153.
