HOME STANDINGS

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – Sophomore Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) is the individual leader and has guided the Seton Hall men's golf team to an eight-stroke team lead after two rounds at the 2017 Fort Lauder Dale Intercollegiate.

Nagai has been brilliant through two rounds, shooting a 3-under-par, 70-71-141, and currently leads the field of 84 individual golfers by three strokes with 18 holes remaining. He is three strokes ahead of a trio of golfers at even-par, which includes his teammate, Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines). Nagai is seeking his first tournament individual title.

Collectively, the Pirates have turned in two strong rounds and are 6-over-par with a 293-289-582 entering Tuesday's final round. They lead second place Richmond by eight strokes.

Go, tied for second place, is even-par with a 73-71-144. He is tied with Florida Gulf Coast's Casper Howells and Old Dominion's David Langley.

Alex Chalk (Castle Douglas, Scotland) is currently tied for 12^th place following and is 4-over-par with a 75-73-148. The freshman is seeking his second career top-10.

Sophomore Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) is tied for 21^st place with a 7-under-par, 75-76-151, while junior Linus Yip (Sydney, Australia) is only two shots behind Yeom with a 9-over-par, 79-74-153.

Freshman Alex McAuley (Douglas, Isle of Man), competing as an individual, shaved nine strokes off his first round score in round two. Currently, he is 15-over-par with an 84-75-159.

The Course:
Built in 1957, the North Course is a classic Dick Wilson influenced track designed by Red Lawrence with all the golf components. The 18-hole championship course features undulating greens and unique bunkers that challenge golfers of all abilities. Measuring from 5,335-6,915 yards, the North Course hosts yearly member events as well as PGA, USGA, and FSGA events.

The Field:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Loyola (Md.), the 14-team field includes: Drake, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Hartford, Holy Cross, Manhattan, Mercer, Old Dominion, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, Stetson and Tennessee Tech.

Tee Times:
Tuesday's final round will feature tee times off holes No. 1 and No. 10 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Seton Hall will be paired with golfers from Richmond and Florida Gulf Coast, teeing off on hole No. 1 beginning with Yip at 9:30 a.m. ET.
