Pirates Set To Kick Off Spring Break Trip To Florida

MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – After going 3-2 in the UNCG Invitational last weekend, the Seton Hall softball team (7-6) will head south to the Sunshine State to kick off an 11-game spring break trip. The Pirates will begin their road trip this weekend at the Madeira Beach Invitational hosted by Eastern Michigan before heading to USF'S Under Armour Showcase.

Last weekend the Pirates closed out their run at UNGG Invitational with a 9-7 win over ACC foe Virginia, finishing with 14 hits in the slugfest. Senior Alexis Walkden hit a three-run home run to get the Pirates going early in the bottom of the first. The Hall also picked up wins against UNCG and Appalachian State in Greensboro.
