Pirates Edged by Hawaii on Home Runs, 3-2

Burnham started and allowed two runs over five innings with three strikeouts and two walks. McLinskey made only one bad pitch, which resulted in a solo home run to Hawaii's Adam Fogel. The sixth inning home run proved to be the game-winner. It was the only hit McLinskey surrendered and he retired all nine of the other batters he faced.
Senior Rob Dadona (Staten Island, N.Y.) hit his first home run of the season on the game's first pitch. In the bottom of the second however, the Rainbow Warriors tied the game on an RBI ground out.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Hawaii's Kekai Rios belted a solo home run off Burnham to give the Rainbow Warriors a 2-1 lead. The Pirates batted back however, and a costly Hawaii error resulted in The Hall tying the game in the top of the sixth inning.
Turning Point:
With one out in the bottom of the sixth inning, Fogel hit the first pitch he saw over the left-center field fence to give Hawaii the lead for good.
