NEWARK, Del. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (2-1-0) couldn't overcome a pair of early goals and dropped a 3-1 decision at Delaware (1-2-0) on Saturday night at Stuart & Suzanne Grant Stadium. The match was the third and final contest in a season-opening three-game road swing for The Hall.

The Blue Hens broke through for a pair of goals in the first 15 minutes, going up 2-0 with tallies in the 10^th and 15^th minutes. The Hall got in on the early flurry in the 17^th minute when Carlton McKenzie (Birmingham, England) notched his second goal of the year to get the Pirates back within a goal.

The Hall continued to trail 2-1 at the half and conceded a third goal in the 68^th minute that effectively iced the contest for Delaware.
