Pirates Fall At Delaware On Saturday Night

NEWARK, Del. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (2-1-0) couldn't overcome a pair of early goals and dropped a 3-1 decision at Delaware (1-2-0) on Saturday night at Stuart & Suzanne Grant Stadium. The match was the third and final contest in a season-opening three-game road swing for The Hall.
The Blue Hens broke through for a pair of goals in the first 15 minutes, going up 2-0 with tallies in the 10th and 15th minutes. The Hall got in on the early flurry in the 17th minute when Carlton McKenzie (Birmingham, England) notched his second goal of the year to get the Pirates back within a goal.
The Hall continued to trail 2-1 at the half and conceded a third goal in the 68th minute that effectively iced the contest for Delaware.
