Matt Toke Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall junior Matt Toke (Three Bridges, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Toke hit safely in all five games of the Snowbird Classic last week and batted a team-best .556 with 10 hits in 18 at bats over that span. He also belted a two-run home run in Seton Hall's victory over Bucknell on Tuesday. In addition to the home run, Toke went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and two RBIs against the Bison. He had three singles against Saint Joseph's on Friday, and reached base three times against Harvard, going 2-for-3 with an RBI, a walk and a stolen base.
St. John's Rudy Aguilar was named BIG EAST Player of the Week, while Joe LaSorsa earned Pitcher of the Week honors. Those joining Toke on the Honor Roll include: Creighton's Parker Upton, Georgetown's Kyle Ruedisilli, Villanova's Jimmy Kingsbury and Xavier's Chris Givin.
Seton Hall will return to action on Tuesday when it makes the short trip to Staten Island, N.Y. for a game at Wagner. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
