Dana Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The junior hit .600 with two home runs against USC
NEW YORK - Junior Casey Dana (Montgomery, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after a strong week at the plate for the Seton Hall baseball team at USC this past weekend.
Dana went 6-for-10 (.600) with two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI. He registered multi-hit games in all three contests and he reached base eight times in 12 plate appearances.
With the Pirates holding on to a 4-1 lead entering the top of the third, Dana's solo home run put the Pirates back ahead, 5-1. He later provided insurance with an RBI single that extended the Hall's lead to 6-2. In the rubber game, USC led 4-0 but Dana's second home run of the series cut the Pirates' deficit to three, 4-1.
Dana had three fielding chances over the course of the three games and he registered two putouts and an assist.
