South Orange, N.J. -- Senior Jay Allmer (Cary, N.C.) pitched a scoreless outing while allowing only one hit and redshirt senior Devin Hack (Somerville, N.J.) went 1-for-4 to extend his hit streak to six games as the Pirates dropped to Columbia, 31-0.

How It Happened

Columbia scored early and often in this midweek matchup. Columbia scored fifteen runs through the first three innings of the game and then scored sixteen runs in the final three innings of the game to make it a 31-0 final in seven innings.

The Pirates tallied four hits as a team. Hack had a single up the middle in the third inning, redshirt junior Cole Zak (Cleveland, Ohio) doubled to left field in the second inning, senior Max Viera (Greenwood Lake, N.Y.) singled to center in the the third inning, and graduate student Danny Melnick (Hamilton, N.J.) singled to right field in the sixth inning.
