LAST TIME OUT
- The Pirates travelled out to Milwaukee, Wisc., to face off against Marquette in the Pirates' first BIG EAST road matchup of the season.
- The Pirates found themselves up 1-0 at the halftime break after The Hall turned a free kick into an Aidan Tisony goal. The goal was Tisony's third of the season and second in as many games.
- Hugo Gerbore added another goal in the second half to make it a 2-0 game with 20 minutes remaining. Off the back of stout defensive play in the closing stages, Seton Hall protected the clean sheet and secured the 2-0 victory, giving the team its first 2-0-0 start in BIG EAST play since 2006.
- Georgetown is 6-2-2 on the season, with a 2-0 record in BIG EAST play, after defeating St. John's 2-0 last week.
- The Hoyas entered the season picked to finish first in the BIG EAST East Division with 65 points and 10 first-place votes.
- After winning the BIG EAST Tournament last season, much of the Hoyas' title-winning core has returned. Among them, two of Georgetown's All-BIG EAST First Team selections from last season, Zach Zengue and Matthew Van Horn, have produced dominant seasons. So far this season, Zengue is tied for third in the nation in goals scored (9) and is eighth in points per game (2.20). Van Horn, meanwhile, is tied for fourth in the country in assists (6).
- The Hoyas also return a pair of defensive stalwarts who landed on the All-BIG EAST Third Team last season. Tate Lampman not only landed third-team honors in his freshman season but was also named BIG EAST Freshman of the Year.
- Behind Lampman is senior goalie Tenzing Manske. Georgetown's netminder landed on the All-BIG EAST Third Team last season and is now having just as good a 2025 campaign. The New Mexico native has a 0.84 GAA and 21 total saves on 76 shots faced.
- This will be the 48th all-time matchup against Marquette, with the first meeting dating back to 1963.
- The Pirates hold a 17-26-4 record against the Hoyas.
- Last season, the Pirates fell 2-0 in Washington, D.C.
