How It Happened (Game One)
- FDU struck first, scoring a run on a wild pitch in the first inning to go up 1-0.

- After allowing the opening run, the Pirates launched an offensive salvo in the bottom half of the first inning. Hannah Alexander scored a pair of runs on a single, Olivia Gilbert drove in another two on a double. To cap off the inning, Taylor Hill brought home Gilbert to make it a 5-1 Seton Hall lead after the first inning.
- The Pirates added two more runs in the second inning, one on a Katey Brennan single and the other on a Kelsey Carr double to go up 7-1.
- FDU slowly came back into the game, to the point in which at the end of the top of fourth, it was only a one-run Seton Hall lead, 7-6.

- In the fourth inning, Andrea Perez drove in a pair of runs to extend the Pirates' lead to three, 9-6.
- Despite the Knights scoring one more run to make it a 9-7 game, Carr drove in another run to make it 10-7 Seton Hall.

- The Pirates shut down FDU over the final two innings, securing the 10-7 victory in game one.
How It Happened (Game Two)
- With an altered lineup after game one, Seton Hall struck first off the back of a RBI single by Perez to put The Hall in front, 1-0.

- After pitching over three innings to close out game one, Kyra Kreuscher started game two strong. However, FDU made contact in the third inning and the Pirates went down 3-1.
- Kreuscher pitched another full inning after before Carr stepped in the circle to close out the game as The Hall searched for answers.
- The Pirates managed to put two runners on in the sixth inning and load the bases in the seventh, but could not find any runs and fell 3-1 to FDU to close out the doubleheader.

- The Pirates move to 23-17 on the season.
- Seton Hall is now 13-2 all-time against FDU, with the first matchup occurring in 1977.
- After splitting the doubleheader, Head Coach Angie Churchill is one week away from reaching 300 career wins.

- With two walks in game one, Carr became the program record holder in career walks, passing Alexis Walkden's (2015-18) mark of 114 walks.
- Brennan surpassed 40 runs scored on the season and is now five runs shy of setting a new single-season program record.
- With three walks in game one, Brennan logged her fourth game this season of three or more walks.
- She also logged her 11th multi-run game this season.
- Also, by not appearing in the second game, Brennan did not appear in a game for the first time this season.
- Karissa Dupuis collected her third win of the season.
- Gilbert collected her 40th RBI and 12th multi-RBI game of the season.
- Perez surpassed 15 RBI on the season.
- Perez has eight hits across her last four doubleheader starts.
