Milewski Again Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – For the second straight week, Seton Hall's Kevin Milewski (Wallingford, Conn.) was named to the BIG EAST Baseball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Milewski continued his breakout season last weekend against Georgetown, helping the Pirates to wins in two of three contests at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium.

The Pirates' catcher smashed two more home runs last weekend and drove in five runs. With the Pirates' trailing 4-2 on Friday against the Hoyas in the bottom of the ninth inning, Milewski hit a towering three-run home run to left field to send The Hall to a 5-4 walk-off victory. He added a key insurance run with a solo shot in the eighth inning on Saturday as the Pirates held on for an 8-6 victory.

With 15 home runs on the season, Milewski is currently tied for fifth place all-time on Seton Hall's single-season list with former legends Rick Cerone and Mo Vaughn.

Seton Hall will return to action when it heads to long-time BIG EAST rival Villanova to begin a three-game set on Thursday, May 15. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET. The game will be available for FloCollege subscribers.
