EJ Devarie joined the Seton Hall baseball program as its volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2022. Devarie comes to South Orange after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Keystone College.
This past summer, Devarie was an assistant coach in the Cape Cod League with the Brewster Whitecaps. He helped lead the Whitecaps to the 2021 Cape Code League championship. Devarie also helped guide Keystone to regular season and conference tournament crowns, leading to an NCAA DIII Regional appearance.
Devarie entered the coaching profession following a four-year career at Ball State. As a senior, he hit .332 with four home runs and 35 RBI in a season that saw the Cardinals win a MAC championship.
