In the top of the sixth inning, the Pirates broke the game open. Grober led off the inning with a solo home run over the left field fence to give The Hall a 4-2 advantage. Santorelli then reached on an infield single, and advanced to second on a failed pickoff attempt. After Clyde successfully bunted Santorelli to third base, junior Connor Hood (Shrewsbury, Pa.) delivered an RBI single to center field. With two outs, Del Castillo singled through the right side to score Hood and give the Pirates a commanding 6-2 lead.
