SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall softball team will host a midweek matchup with Stony Brook on Wednesday at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field. It will be the Pirates' first game since they wrapped up their weekend series with Creighton on April 3. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. against the Seawolves.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
The department will allow two parents or guardians of each Seton Hall student-athlete to attend an outdoor competition that is hosted on campus, including games at Owen T. Carroll Field for men's and women's soccer, Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium for baseball and Mike Sheppard Sr. Field for softball.
Unfortunately, due to capacity limits, this policy does not apply towards parents or guardians of members of the opposing team or members of the general public.
LAST TIME OUT
The Pirates dropped their last series at Creighton in Omaha. Kiana Tate (Las Vegas, Nev.) was named to the BIG EAST's Weekly Honor following her performance in the three-game series in which she went 5-for-8 (.625). The infielder went 2-for-2 on Saturday with an RBI, walk and stolen base for the Pirates. Continuing her solid play in the field this season at both shortstop and third base, Tate had another flawless week at the hot corner. Jaden Tate (Las Vegas, Nev.), Abby Wingo (Portland, Ore.) and Darby Pandolfo (Massapequa, N.Y.) all went deep for the Pirates over the weekend.

The game will be live streamed for free on the Pirate Sports Network. Live stats are available here.
WHAT'S AHEAD
The Pirates will travel to Stony Brook for a doubleheader on Saturday after their original weekend series with UConn was postponed.
