Fort Myers, Fla. - Sophomore Drew Conover (Pittsgrove, N.J.) faced seven batters and struck out four in two innings of relief as the Seton Hall baseball team fell to Florida Gulf Coast, 12-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Devin Hack (Somerville, N.J.) and freshman Jedier Hernandez (Trenton, N.J.) tallied base hits for the Pirates.
How It Happened
After a clean first inning for freshman starter Daniel Frontera (Red Bank, N.J.), the Eagles tacked on four runs in the second and six runs in the third to take a 10-0 lead. The Pirates' third pitcher of the day was Conover who entered in the bottom of the third and struck out the side to end the threat.
The Pirates put a runner on in the fourth and two runners on in the fifth but couldn't push a run across. FGCUÂ added runs in the sixth and seventh innings that put the game out of reach.

The Pirates will look to salvage the final game of this three-game series which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
