
Pirates Host Butler At The Shep This Weekend

South Orange, N.J. - Winners of eight of its last 11 games, the Seton Hall baseball team welcomes Butler to Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium at Owen T. Carroll Field for a three-game series, starting with Friday's opener at 6 p.m.
Promotional Schedule
Friday: Baseball Bingo -Â Fans can participate in Baseball Bingo by scanning the QR code at the Marketing table. All cards are mobile and each scan will generate a new, user unique card! The first five (5)Â fans to win can collect their prize at the marketing table.
Saturday: Trading Card Giveaway - The first 150 fans to attend the baseball game at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium on Saturday, April 22 (2 p.m.) will receive a pack of trading cards, made up of the team's seniors and graduate students!
Sunday: Sunday Sundaes -Â Seton Hall students in attendance will receive free ice cream when they show their SHU ID at the concession stand located adjacent to the parking deck.

- Seton Hall enters the the weekend in a three-way tie for first in the BIG EAST with UConn and Xavier also at 4-2 in league play.
- Seton Hall and Butler have split the last four games in the all-time series but the Pirates have won five of the last eight meetings.
- The Pirates are coming off of their first series victory over St. John's since 2016 and their first series win in Queens since 2012.
- Seton Hall scored a season-high 14 runs on 18 hits in its midweek victory over Wagner on Wednesday, 14-3.

- The Hall has turned 34 double played this season which leads the BIG EAST and ranks 13th in the country.
