
Fall Season Culminates at Patriot Invitational

Fairfax, Va. – The Seton Hall women's swimming & diving team has seen a wide range of contributors to this point in the season, from senior veterans to fresh new faces, the Pirates aim to have it all come together as they conclude the fall season at the Patriot Invitational hosted by George Mason Nov. 16-18.
Sara Ouellette , Gabby Van Tassell and Jill Calocino all have Top-10 times in the BIG EAST in the 500 free this season. Ouellette's 5:08.66 that she swam against Monmouth and Montclair State ranks here sixth, while Van Tassell (5:10.59) is eighth and Calocino (5:13.46) ranks 10th.
At the Big 12 vs. BIG EAST tri-meet against Xavier and host West Virginia, Ouellette swam a 2:03.32 in the 200 back, the second-best time in the conference this season. Additionally, Calocino and Van Tassell also rank seventh and ninth, respectively, on the Top-10 list in the conference in the 1000 free.
Freshmen Julie Stankiewicz (Metuchen, N.J.) and Marianne Molloy (Toms River, N.J.) have had very nice starts to their debut campaign, and both have Top-10 BIG EAST times in the 50 and 100 backstroke.
Jordan Decker is 12th in the BIG EAST in the 50 free (24.72) and 13th in the 100 free (54.25).
Senior Sydney Simpson (Tallahassee, Fla.) and freshman Alexa Kolodgie (Baltimore, Md.) have paced the Pirates in the breaststroke. In the team's most recent competition at the Rutgers quad-meet, Simpson swam the fourth-best time in the conference in the 100 breast (1:06.47) and Kolodgie touched the wall with the fourth-best 200 breast time of 2:24.51.
Freshman Amelia Wootton (Bethel, Conn.) owns the No. 5 time in the BIG EAST in the 200 IM, a 2:09.31, registered against Monmouth and Montclair State.
Another freshman making an immediate impact has been diver Taylor Jackson (Thornton, Colo.). She owns the top 1M and 3M scores in the BIG EAST. Her scores of 326.55 in the 3M and 325.42 in the 1M both rank in the Top-50 in the country.
