Santorelli jumped on the first pitch he saw and drove the ball into right field, which easily allowed Tyler Shedler-McAvoy (Allendale, N.J.) to score from third base with the winning run. Santorelli went 2-for-5 for the game with a double, a run scored and the game-winning RBI. Shedler-McAvoy also had two hits, going 2-for-5 with two runs scored.
Sophomore Casey Dana (Montgomery, N.Y.) reached base three times, going 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and a monster solo home run in the sixth inning.
Seton Hall starter Ricky DeVito (Staten Island, N.Y.) allowed two runs over six innings in a no decision. He tied his season-high with nine strikeouts and walked only two batters.

What Happened:
Trailing 2-1, the Pirates took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning with back-to-back one-out RBI singles through the left side. After Santorelli doubled to lead off, and Steve Grober (Hillsborough, N.J.) walked, senior Chris Villa (Staten Island, N.Y.) singled to tie the game. Jerry Huntzinger (Staten Island, N.Y.) followed with an RBI single to give The Hall a 3-2 lead.
Dana's team-leading seventh home run of the season gave the Pirates an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth.
The Hall's lead however, was short-lived as Georgetown struck for three runs off the Pirate bullpen in the top of the seventh. After a one-out triple, reliever Blake Espinal (Bronx, N.Y.) was able strikeout the next batter for the second out of the inning. The Hoyas however, drew back-to-back walks, followed by back-to-back RBI singles off Espinal and Hunter Waldis (Far Hills, N.J.), to plate three runs and take a 5-4 advantage.
In the bottom of the eighth, The Hall used a little small ball to tie the score. Shedler-McAvoy singled to lead off and was sacrificed to second on a bunt by Christian Del Castillo (Miami, Fla.). A passed ball moved Shedler-McAvoy to third base, and then he scored on a perfect safety squeeze bunt by Matt Toke (Three Bridges, N.J.).
In the bottom of the 10th inning, Shedler-McAvoy led off with a hard single to center field and moved to second on another sacrifice bunt by Del Castillo. After Dana walked, Toke grounded out, which allowed Shedler-McAvoy to advance to third base. That's when Santorelli delivered his two-out heroics.
