Seton Hall Travels to Fresno State for the Season's First Midweek

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall baseball team's spring break trip through California continues on Tuesday as the Pirates (4-5) will take on Fresno State (7-4) for a 9:05 p.m. EST game at Bob Bennett Stadium.

This will be the second meeting in the all-time series between the Bulldogs and the Pirates.
Fresno State beat Seton Hall in the initial meeting between the two schools, 6-4, on March 10, 1999 in Fresno.
The Bulldogs, who finished 34th in the final RPI rankings of the 2019 season, were picked to finish second in the Mountain West Preseason poll.
The Pirates are coming off of a three-game series played in Los Angeles against USC where the Hall won the first game, 6-3, but dropped the next two.
Junior Casey Dana (Montgomery, N.Y.) went 6-for-10 (.600) with two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI in the series against the Trojans.
The Pirates saw productive starting pitching the first two games from junior Ryan McLinskey (Pearl River, N.Y.), who earned the win in game one after going 5.2 innings with six strikeouts, and senior Noah Thompson (Frisco, Texas), who allowed only one earned run in seven innings of work in a loss on Saturday.
