Conference action returns to South Orange for the first time since 2018

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - BIG EAST baseball returns to the Seton Hall campus for the first time since 2018 this weekend when the Pirates take on Butler in a four-game series that runs from Friday, April 9, through Sunday, April 11.

All four games will be streamed live on the Pirate Sports Network. First pitch Friday's doubleheader is scheduled for 2 p.m.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
The department will allow two parents or guardians of each Seton Hall student-athlete to attend an outdoor competition that is hosted on campus, including games at Owen T. Carroll Field for men's and women's soccer, Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium for baseball and Mike Sheppard Sr. Field for softball.

Unfortunately, due to capacity limits, this policy does not apply towards parents or guardians of members of the opposing team or members of the general public.

NEWS & NOTES

The Pirates are coming off of their second series win of the season as the The Hall took two out of three from local foe Fordham.
Despite taking the loss in the final game against the Rams, Festa – Saturday's projected starter – went eight innings, allowed only one run and recorded seven strikeouts.
At the plate, Seton Hall is led by senior Casey Dana (Montgomery, N.Y.) who's hitting .407 while senior Tyler Shedler-McAvoy has driven in a team-best 16 RBI.
Following a stadium renovation and a canceled season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this weekend's BIG EAST series against the Bulldogs will be the first conference games on campus for the Pirates since May 2018.
