2025 (Monmouth): Made 18 appearances out of the bullpen. Posted a 2-1 record with three saves in 32.1 innings. Went the final three innings to secure the save in the season opener against Dayton (2/14). Earned the win against Pitt after allowing one run in 3.2 innings (2/23). Secured the save versus Towson with 2.2 innings of no hit ball (3/29). Posted the save versus Elon after a scoreless inning of relief work (4/20). Picked up the win versus Delaware after going the final three innings (5/10).

2024 (Monmouth): Made 17 appearances out of the bullpen in his first season with the Hawks. His five saves rank tied for 15th in career history at Monmouth. Pitched 25.1 innings and notched 18 strikeouts. Recorded his first win as a Hawk with two innings of one-hit relief work at St. Joseph's (3/15). Earned the win against Campbell (5/11) with one inning of relief work. Struck out a season-high three batters against St. Joseph's (3/15). Held nine opponents to no runs and pitched at least one inning in eight of those contests. Struck out at least one batter in 13 of his 17 appearances.

2023 (Hartford): Split time in the field and on the mound. Made 11 appearances as a pitcher with two starts. Had 23 strikeouts in 23.1 innings of work. Played in 27 games in the field with 19 starts. Had four runs scored with four RBI and two doubles.

High School/Personal: Was a key contributor for head coach Mark Cieslak at St. Joseph's Regional High School. Named First Team All-Conference and All-County in 2021. Won the Triple Crown while going 27-2 and being one of the best teams in New Jersey. Son of Joe and Jackie Benzinger. Majoring in Sociology.
