2023 (Muhlenberg College):Â Emerged as one of the top pitchers in the Centennial Conference. Ranked third in the CC in ERA and second in strikeout-to-walk ratio. Second in the CC with 31 strikeouts in league games. Led the Mule staff in strikeouts and ERA and held opponents to a .246 batting average. Did not give up more than three earned runs in any of his nine starts. Struck out 11 in weather-shortened six-inning complete-game win at McDaniel. The 11 whiffs were the most by a Muhlenberg southpaw since 2005. Fanned 10 in career-high 8 innings vs. Gettysburg in next start. Became first Mule hurler ever to hit double digits in strikeouts in back-to-back CC starts. Tossed five shutout innings vs. Washington College to earn win in last start of season.
2022 (Muhlenberg College):Â Second on the Mules in games started and strikeouts and third in innings pitched. Ninth in the Centennial Conference with his average of 8.47 strikeouts per nine innings. Won his first career start, allowing no earned runs while striking out 8 in 6 innings vs. Gallaudet. Allowed three hits and no earned runs in 5 innings of relief vs. McDaniel. Fanned 7 in 6.1 innings vs. Eastern.
Personal:Â Totaled two varsity letters as a pitcher at Seton Hall Preparatory School. Parents are Antonio and Mellany Barroqueiro.
