Women's Golf Completes Play at UC Spring Invitational

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - Freshman Christina Cantú (Houston, Texas) shot a final round 78 to tie for 26th individually as the Seton Hall women's golf team wrapped up play at the Cincinnati Spring Invitational at Plantation Golf Resort.
North Texas claimed the team title with a 301-292-289 performance for a cumulative score of 882. Briana Carlson of Florida Gulf Coast shot a 74-70-67 to finish at 5-under-par.
Freshman Hannah Basalone (Brea, Calif.) also fired a 78 in the third round to finish tied for 32nd, one stroke behind Cantú. Junior Nicole Longobardo (Upland, Calif.) carded her best round as a collegian with a final round 88.
The Pirates tied for 20th as a team.
