RIO VERDE, ARIZ. - Senior McKenzie Cutter (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) shot a team-best 3-over-par, 75, on Saturday and the Seton Hall women's golf team is currently in 18th place following two rounds of the Rio Verde Invitational. Through 36 holes, Cutter is the Pirates current leader at 12-over-par with an 81-75-156. She is tied for 59th place overall.

Collectively, the Pirates fired a second straight 27-over-par, 315, in round two, and trails the team leader, Toledo, by 38 strokes. Seton Hall's lone BIG EAST competition, Xavier, is currently in 10th place, 24 strokes ahead of The Hall.

Senior Karlie Zabrosky (Erie, Pa.) is just one stroke behind Cutter with a 13-over-par, 78-79-157, while Megan Tenhundfeld (Loveland, Ohio) is two strokes behind Cutter with a 14-over-par, 78-80-158. Sophomore Cassie Pantelas (Cantion, Ohio) is 15-over-par with a 78-81-159, and Macky Fouse (Aliquippa, Pa.) is 21-over-par with an 81-84-165.

The Course:
Rio Verde features two traditional-style courses with a soft desert look. They are more Midwestern in style with a lot more grass than one would imagine in a desert setting. When Tom Lehman led the $6 million course renovation project a few years ago, he achieved his vision of creating two uniquely distinct courses, giving members a never-ending variety of golf experiences. Quail Run has all the elements of a traditional golf course, and White Wing plays more like a links course. Common to both courses are meticulously groomed fairways, greens loaded with personality, and outstanding mountain views.

The Field:
The field consists of 18 teams. Including Seton Hall and host Western Michigan, participating schools include: Akron, Arkansas State, Ball State, Bowling Green, Bradley, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, State, Missouri State, Northern Arizona, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, ULAR, UMKC, Wichita State and Xavier.

Tee Times:
The golfers will play three rounds over three days. There will be a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. for Friday's first round. On Saturday and Sunday, the round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
