Cutter, Tenhundfeld Lead Pirates in Round One at Low Country

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Seniors McKenzie Cutter (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) and Megan Tenhundfeld (Loveland, Ohio) each shot a 4-over-par, 76, on Saturday, and the Seton Hall women's golf team is tied for eighth place following round one at the Low Country Intercollegiate.

Cutter and Tenhundfeld are currently tied for 11th place among 94 individual golfers and trail the leader, William & Mary's Alex Liu, by four strokes entering Sunday's final round.

Collectively, Seton Hall is tied for eighth place among a field of 18 teams after a 26-over-par, 314. The Pirates trail the team leader, Chattanooga, by 12 strokes with 18 holes left to play.

Senior Karlie Zabrosky (Erie, Pa.) and freshman Gianna Tomeo (Bradenton, Fla.) are currently tied for 47th place after a 9-over-par, 81.

The Course:
Golf at Moss Creek is some of the finest in all of the Low Country, with its two championship courses, Devils Elbow South and Devils Elbow North. Both courses were Fazio-designed more than 30 years ago, with the intention of making the game challenging for the low handicap golfers, as well as fair and playable to the higher handicap golfers.

The Field:
This year's field features 18 teams – the most in tournament history – along with 94 individual competitors. In addition to Seton Hall and host Wofford, participating teams include: Appalachian State, Bethune-Cookman, Brown, Bucknell, Chattanooga, The Citadel, Dalton State, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Longwood, Navy, Presbyterian, SCAD, USC Beaufort, USC Upstate and William & Mary.

Tee Times:
Sunday's final round will start at 9:30 a.m. in a shotgun start. The Pirates will be paired with golfers from William & Mary and Dalton State.
