Aguilar Named BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week AGAIN

NEW YORK – Seton Hall freshman Marta Aguilar (Casares Malaga, Spain) was named BIG EAST Female Co-Golfer of the Week on Thursday for the third time this season.

Aguilar collected her third top-5 finish in eight collegiate tournaments to lift the Seton Hall women's golf team to a fifth-place finish at the Georgia State Invitational on Tuesday. Aguilar had 11 birdies for the tournament, which was bolstered by her fifth sub-par round of the year, a 1-under-par, 71, in the opening round. For the three-round event, she tied for fourth place among 86 individual golfers with a 3-over-par, 71-76-72-219.

Aguilar and the rest of the Pirates will return to the course with three rounds of golf at the Rutgers Invitational, April 5-6, in Piscataway, N.J.
