Four Pirates are currently in the top-10 among 92 individual golfers at LPGA International.

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – Graduate student Margot Bechadergue (Aix-En-Provence, France) fired an even-par, 72, to lift the Seton Hall women's golf team to a second-place standing after round one of the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational on Friday.

Bechadergue used four birdies to shoot 4-under-par on the front-nine, but was 4-over-par on the back-nine. She enters Saturday's final round in fourth place among 92 individual golfers and trails the individual leader, Sacred Heart's Maya Robilio, by three strokes.

Collectively, the Pirates shot an 8-over-par, 296, in round one, and trails the team leader, Sacred Heart, by five strokes. The Hall has a 13-stroke cushion on third-place LIU.

Junior Ludovica Busetto (Padova, Italy) had four birdies on Friday in route to a 2-over-par, 74. She's currently tied for sixth place overall.

Sarah Fouratt (Santa Maria, Calif.) and Ana Sarrias Pro (Cadiz, Spain) are currently tied for 10^th place after shooting a 3-over-par, 75. Both had 13 pars and one birdie in round one.

Only one stroke behind Fouratt and Sarrias Pro is Ginevra Zavagli (Rome, Italy). The sophomore started her day even-par through 11 holes and finished at 4-over-par with a 76. She's tied for 14^th overall.

Participating as an individual, Sasha Amelang (Houston, Texas) shot an 11-over-par, 83.

THE COURSE
Since 1994, LPGA International's signature Rees Jones golf course is a favorite of the tour players. It is a traditional links style 7,088 yard design. You will enjoy the strategic mounding, numerous expanses of sand bunkers, natural marsh areas, beautiful lakes and undulating greens. While extremely playable for all skill levels, the ingenious and inventive player is rewarded with multiple options on nearly every shot.

The Jones Course is 4-Star rated by Golf Digest and was awarded 6th in their "America's Top 50 Courses for Women 2010" list.

THE FIELD
In addition to Seton Hall and host Sacred Heart, the field is comprised of 12 other teams including: Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Fairfield, Hartford, Holy Cross, Lehigh, LIU, Merrimack, Mount St. Mary's, Purdue-Fort Wayne, Siena and St. Francis (Pa.).

THE FORMAT
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.
