Despite DePaul taking control offensively in the final overtime period, the Seton Hall defense held the Blue Demons scoreless to keep the 1-1 tie. DePaul out-shot the Pirates 5-2 in the final overtime period. Pirates Rita Massot (Glen Ridge, N.J.) and Ashley Reinecke (Toms River, N.J.) each put a shot on goal.
Becker recorded eight saves for the Pirates, while DePaul’s keeper Cara LaRocca tallied seven.
