SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. The Seton Hall women’s soccer team tied Monmouth in their final non-conference game of the 2008 season Tuesday evening at Owen T. Carroll Field. With the tie, the Pirates are now 4-3-1 overall.

The Pirates offense finished the game with 30 shots, five of them on net, with Hawks goalkeeper Lia Fierro making four saves. King made three saves in her first collegiate start. Monmouth ended the game leading in corner kicks, 3-2, and fouls, 14-7.
The Pirates return to Owen T. Carroll Field Friday evening for their second BIG EAST conference game of the season against Georgetown. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
