Pettigrew Tabbed for BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Junior Jennifer Pettigrew (Kearny, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after blanking Monmouth, 1-0, on Friday, August 26. Pettigrew becomes the second Pirate in as many weeks to be honored by the conference.
Pettigrew made three saves and picked up her fourth career clean-sheet and first of the 2011 season to help Seton Hall begin the season 2-0 for the first time since 2007.
USF senior Noelle Pineiro was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Marquette junior Ally Miller earned BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week accolades. Cincinnati freshman Kristina Utley earned BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week honors, while Georgetown freshman Daphne Corboz was tabbed BIG EAST Rookie of the Week.
The Pirates will host Lehigh this evening at Owen T. Carroll Field. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
