Pirates Square Off With Marquette on Senior Night

South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall women's soccer team will conclude its 2017 season on Thursday night against Marquette at 7 p.m. Prior to the match, the Pirates will honor their seven graduating student-athletes on Senior Night at Owen T. Carroll Field. The contest will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FOX Sports GO.

The seven graduating Pirates include: Sarah Cortes (Paramus, N.J.), Ryann Ramirez (Lake Tahoe, Calif.), Ana Zadro (Mississauga, Ontario), Katie Landes (Stony Point, N.Y.), Lauren Hall (Bridgewater, N.J.), Andrea Palermo (Caledon, Ontario), and Laura Dramis (Farmingdale, N.Y.).

Thursday night's contest will be the eighth all-time meeting between the Pirates (0-11-5; 0-5-3 BIG EAST) and the Golden Eagles (11-6-1; 4-4-0 BIG EAST). Marquette leads the all-time series, 5-1-1 with the lone setback coming in South Orange in 2015.

Junior Julia Stirpe (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) leads the Pirates with five points on two goals and an assist
At midfield, Hall has provided a spark on the offensive end, and has tallied a pair of goals including an impressive strike at Xavier on Oct. 19
Cassy Harrigan has made an impressive impact during her rookie campaign, and is tied with Stirpe and Hall for a team-best two goals.
On Sunday, sophomore forward Marissa Aniolowski notched her first goal of the season against Providence
Junior goalkeeper Laura Dramis has been strong in net this season. She has a 1.29 GAA and a .780 save percentage in 8 games played.
The seven seniors that the Pirates will honor on Thursday night, have combined to play 262 career games, and were the first class under head coach Rick Stainton.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES

Marquette is led by redshirt junior Carrie Madden, named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this week, and has six goals and three assists for a total of 15 points this season. She is tied for eighth in the BIG EAST in goals.
Darian Powell has also been an offensive force for the Golden Eagles this season. She has five goals and four assists for a total of 14 points.
Sophomore goalkeeper Maddy Henry has started in all 18 games and has a 1.06 GAA, a .822 save percentage, and a total of 88 saves on the season. She has the fourth-best save percentage and third-most saves in the BIG EAST.
Marquette is coming off of a 3-0 victory over Creighton on Sunday
Markus Roeders is in his 22^nd season with the Golden Eagles. He has compiled a 302-119-46 record in his career.
