
Tavana Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

South Orange, N.J. -- Natalie Tavana (Middletown, Conn.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after assisting on two second-half goals at St. John's on Sunday that helped the Seton Hall women's soccer team rally to tie with the Red Storm.
In a game where she played the full 90 minutes, Tavana posted her second multi-assist performance of her career. She also had a game-high eight shots and three shots on goal. With the Pirates trailing 2-0 at the half, Tavana assisted on The Hall's first goal in the 63rd minute before assisting on the equalizer that came off of her corner kick in the 85th minute. The BIG EAST Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, Tavana helped lead Seton Hall to its first positive result at St. John's since 2000.
Tavana's two assists on Sunday gives her 49 career points and puts her one point shy of tying Katie Ritter for third in program history. Tavana's 11 career assists now ranks sixth in program history.Â
